Great place for a cuppa after a walk. Reasonable prices. Lovely views over the lake. Shame the opening hours are so short, especially in the summer months.
The only good thing about the cafe is the nice view.Sadly the food wasn't as good. There wasn't even any clotted cream for scones. Service was poor.

We had the whole upstairs area to ourselves, overlooking the lakes, surrounded by various artefacts from the lakes themselves! Brilliant, chill atmosphere. We all had the hot dogs which were huge, came loaded with onions, and were very cheap. The staff also had no issues with us taking the mustard up to our table.
It's OK. I'm never going to like a place which feels as though they are doing you a favour by being open, and then serving you.
